Second Location Opened
The York County Industrial Development Authority is bringing a splash of color to Downtown York! York City’s new premier center for the visual arts is located at 37 West Philadelphia Street. “Marketview Arts – A Studio for Creativity” is a 2.8 million dollar facility that will contribute to the downtown Market District by providing gallery space, event space and an arts orientation center. Glenn opened a studio and Gallery inside this new facility on 04/11/2012. He will be there every First Friday from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
*NEW* “The Blue’s Brothers” show opening February 8th, 2013. The Chadds Ford Gallery
Located at 1609 Baltimore Pike (Route 1), in the Village of Chadds Ford, PA. Come out and see Glenn and Bruce Blue’s new show. Recent paintings in watercolor, oil, acrylic and mixed media. Both Glenn and Bruce have been painting since childhood, under the apprenticeship of their artist parents until Glenn and Bruce ventured out on their own. The Andrew Wyeth heritage of this gallery and loaction in Southeastern Pennsylvania makes this show and gallery a MUST SEE!
Glenn’s award winning painting “Winter’s Glow” is on a National Tour in the Paint The Parks exhibition. The international show had thousands of works submitted and only 100 paintings selected. Only 6 paintings received awards. Glenn’s watercolor “winter’s Glow” was selected the “Jurors Award Winner”. They expect over 35,000 people to see the show when it is done touring the country.
